About a ton of synthetic drugs, substances for their manufacture, special equipment for the production of drugs were seized from one of the largest suppliers of drugs in the territory RF. Also, not only ordinary members of the organized crime group were detained, but also the organizers themselves. This information was provided by Irina Volk, who is the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
According to her, criminal cases have been initiated against 4 leaders and 14 members of an international criminal group. This group conducted its criminal activities in Moscow, Moscow region, Vladimir, Ivanovo regions.
According to information from law enforcement agencies, the criminal community was formed no later than the beginning of autumn last year and conducted its activities until February 2020. At the same time, it included Ukrainians, Moldovans and Russians.. The natives of Ukraine were directly involved in the preparation of drugs in several illegal laboratories, and the citizens of Moldova and Russia were couriers, packers and customers.
Narcotic drugs were sold through the shadow segments of the Internet. To date, all detainees have already been charged with the production and sale of drugs as part of an organized group. Participants in criminal cases face life imprisonment.
