A couple walking their dog were hit and killed in a horror crash with a supposedly stolen car in Alexandra Hills, Redland City, minutes after the same car was involved in a road traffic incident.
Police arrested a 17-year-old male teenager yesterday evening who is believed to have driven the 4WD Toyota LandCruiser that crashed into a truck and rolled, hit and killed two pedestrians at the intersection of Vienna and Finucane streets .
Shocking footage has surfaced online showing the same car crashing into another vehicle at the same intersection just 20 minutes before pedestrians died.
The footage shows a man in a Toyota pointing to the driver of a silver Hyundai hatchback while the cars are parked side by side and waiting at a red light in Alexandra Hills around 5:10 p.m.
When the lights are green, the four-wheel drive crashes into the side of the silver car before spinning off.
Shortly afterwards, around 5:30 p.m., the allegedly stolen four-wheel drive at the same intersection was involved in a second collision that killed two pedestrians on Finucane Road while walking their dog.
Police claim the stolen four-wheel drive drove dangerously through the intersection and crashed into a tow truck.
The blow caused the LandCruiser to roll, hit the two pedestrians as they rolled and killed them both, even though the emergency services tried to resuscitate them.

Police said the 17-year-old teen, believed to have got behind the wheel of the allegedly stolen car in last night’s accident, ran from the scene but was arrested nearby a short time later.
He was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. He still had to face charges late into the night.
It is believed that the dog that was being led by the couple killed in the accident was not found last night.
Chris Fleming, who posted the video of the first collision online, told The Courier-Mail that his wife Angela started filming the car after hearing a loud screech as the four-wheel drive pulled up behind them and passed them.
The couple then stopped at the traffic light behind the allegedly stolen car, where they filmed the driver and made rude gestures to the man and child in the car next to him before the first accident.
« Look, I just saw a hit and ran with a guy. We’ve got everything on the video, » Mrs. Fleming tells a triple-0 operator.
The couple stop to help the Hyundai driver and ask if he is okay.
« No, but we have our disabled son in the back of the car, » replies the driver of the hatchback.
The tragedy comes after grandmother Rhonda Lofting was killed at the same intersection in August 2014.
The 65-year-old’s car was hit by a stolen vehicle driven by a 40-year-old while she was stopped at a red light on the same corner where the two people were killed last night. The driver was charged with manslaughter on her death and sentenced to 11 years in prison.
