Traktor beat Vityaz Podolsk in the KHL regular championship match. The meeting took place at the Valery Belousov Arena-Traktor stadium in Chelyabinsk and ended with a score of 2: 1 (0: 0, 1: 0, 1: 1) in favor of Anvar Gatiyatulin’s charges.
The goals for the winners were scored by Vyacheslav Osnovin and Denis Bodrov. Traktor goalkeeper Roman Will saved 26 shots. The only goal for Vityaz was scored by Kaspars Daugavins.
Thus, the Chelyabinsk club broke the streak of five defeats. In the next match of the KHL regular championship, Vityaz will play against HC Sochi on January 16, and Traktor will play against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl on January 17 in Chelyabinsk.
