Ebene Magazine – The Niagara Area Public Health Adds More Data For Vaccination Clinics As Age Eligibility For Hot Spots Increases

More people in Niagara Falls can sign up for a COVID-19 vaccine today as the government expands age eligibility for hotspots.

People aged 18 and over who live at one of the hotspots identified by the zip code, can book an appointment at a mass vaccination clinic this morning from 8 a.m.

Niagara has only one provincially recognized hot spot: a neighborhood in Niagara Falls with the zip code L2G.

From Thursday, people over 50 years of age can join high health risk and those unable to work from home who fall into the first group (including the rest of the school staff) also book a vaccine appointment.

Currently, people 55 and over can make an appointment in Niagara with childcare supervisors and education, pregnant and high-risk populations and their caregivers.

The clinic dates for Port Colborne at the Vale Health and Wellness Center on May 23, 26. May 24th and 27th will also be added to the portal shortly.

Appointments for mass vaccination clinics can be booked online via the provincial portal or by calling 1-833-943-3900
