One of the plants of the holding « Belarusian Cement Company »
The Kiev District Administrative Court dismissed the claim of the management company of the Belarusian Cement Company holding and its importers for the abolition of antidumping duties. These duties were established by the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade (ICMT) in May 2019.
This was reported by the Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm, which represents the interests of a number of Ukrainian manufacturers in the case, as reported by the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
Context. Anti-dumping duties are set at 57.03% on imports of Portland cement and clinker originating from Belarus, 94.46% – Moldova, 114.95% – Russia.
The application of such high rates of duties on imports from three countries simultaneously is an extremely rare result for an anti-dumping investigation.
