The red carpet doesn’t look like it usually does, but it’s still the funniest awards show of the year.

Despite massive global disruptions as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 78th annual event is actually taking place this year. annual Golden Globes. The awards ceremony hosted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (often hailed as the most carefree of the season) recognizes successes in television and film over the past year (2020 and through to early 2021) and traditionally takes place in early January. This year the season starts a little late and is being adapted to the ongoing health and safety measures.

On Sunday February 28th, the HFPA’s annual Golden Globe Awards celebrate the best shows and films that have entertained us over the past year. And if the 2020 Emmy Awards were signs of that, it wouldn’t mean the glamorous and star-studded affair is going to be any less. We can still rely on our red carpet regulars like Tracee Ellis Ross and fashion plates like Carey Mulligan for stunning looks made up of oversized sleeves, bright blocks of color and truly breathtakingly beautiful jewels.

Here you will find our favorite dresses and dresses of the evening by Emma Corrin and Michelle Pfeiffer as well as breathtaking couture confections such as the Gucci dress worn by Elle Fanning and the dotted Chanel by Margot Robbie.

Shipka nodded to her former Mad Men costar’s throwback dress by donning the same dress she wore to the 2011 celebrations.

Jones made a throwback post for the celebrations and donned the red Versace dress she wore to the ceremony 10 years ago.
