Ebene Magazine – Nafisa Ali Sodhi rubbishes Lucky Ali’s death rumours; shares details of his whereabouts en

The social media on Tuesday was flooded with rumours surrounding popular singer Lucky Ali’s health. Rumours of his death and him testing positive for COVID-19 had taken over Twitter and many of his ardent fans were left heartbroken, some of whom had also taken to social media to pen tweets in Ali’s memory. But soon after the rumours started to trend on social media, the singer’s good friend and veteran actress Nafisa Ali Sodhi decided to set the record straight.

Reacting to a tweet penned as a tribute to the singer, Nafisa rubbished the death rumours. A fan took to Twitter and wrote, « He will be always remembered for his unique hmmm » and used hashtags like ‘#LuckyAli’ and ‘#Covid’.

Putting an end to Ali’s death hoax, Sodhi also confirmed that the singer hasn’t tested positive for COVID-19, contrary to what the rumours suggested. The veteran actress also informed fans about Ali’s health and his whereabouts.

« Lucky is totally well and we were chatting this afternoon. He is on his farm with his family . No Covid . In good health, » read Sodhi’s tweet.

Before Sodhi confirmed that the rumours weren’t true, many fans had offered condolence on Twitter. Post Sodhi’s confirmation, the internet was flooded with memes.

Just last year in December, Sodhi and Ali were in Goa. Sodhi made sure to keep Ali’s fans updated with his photographs and videos. A certain video wherein Ali sang his famous O Sanam song in an informal setting in Goa had gone viral in no time. Speaking to Times Now Digital about the same in an earlier interview, Sodhi had said that she just wanted to celebrate the genius of her dear old friend.

She had also said, « You know, young people especially tend to forget, so why should we forget somebody who is a genius, and only remember him when he was young and handsome and he was such a cool dude? Now, he’s a sort of a musician with a soul, experience and sensitivity and you can see it in his music. So, I find it very exciting and I feel like I’m the diva and I am promoting my old friend because I want people to see him today and not only remember what he did before but now too. »
