Lorenzo Savadori will make his full-time MotoGP debut this year after being confirmed at Aprilia as Aleix Espargaro’s team-mate.
The team’s rider line-up was made during the official 2021 bike launch at the Losail circuit Announced internationally in Qatar ahead of the official tests at the same circuit.
Savadori drove for Aprilia for the last three laps of last season, replacing Bradley Smith. However, in the winter it was revealed that he and Bradley Smith would both be battling for a spot on this year’s team. The Italian teamed up with Espargaro, who is starting his fifth season with Aprilia, recently on a private testing at Jerez and his position was confirmed today.
