The 20-year-old victim was shot in the lower body just before 6 p.m. from a moving car in a parking lot near Coles Patterson Lakes on Thompson Road.
« The exact circumstances of the incident are being investigated, but investigators believe it is a targeted shootout, « said a spokesman for the Victoria Police.
Investigators examined the parking lot for several hours last night after the shootings, took photos of the scene and packed evidence.
