Robert Lewandowski caught up on Jürgen Klopp’s role in his career as the Bayern Munich striker continued to score for the European champions this season.
Lewandowski became FIFA’s best male player last month elected, while Klopp won the men’s coaching award for the second time in a row after ending Liverpool’s 30-year wait for the 2019/20 English league champions to be crowned.
Last season, 32-year-old Lewandowski won Bayern helped to win three times the titles in the Champions League, the Bundesliga and the German Cup. He scored 55 goals from 47 games in all competitions.

He has 256 in the Bundesliga Scored goals for Bayern and Dortmund, making him the best-placed foreigner in the league.
Soon he could outshine Klaus Fischer’s record of 263 goals and become the second highest goalscorer in the league behind only Bayern legend Gerd Müller.
‘The bomber, as Müller was called, scored 365 goals in the German top league, 40 of them in the 1971/72 season, a record that still exists.
Lewandowski says that in addition to Klopp, the former coach of Bayern, Jupp Heynckes, Pep Guardiola, Carlo Ancelotti and the current boss Hansi Flick, have helped him to improve.
