In St. Petersburg, police detained the leader of the Liberate Petersburg movement Vadim Kazak. He was going to sing the song « Change! » group « Kino » at the shopping center « Gallery ». Sever.Realii reports.
The Cossack was going to sing a song with an original chorus, changing only the text of the verses « on the topic of the day. » The activist used posters with the lines of the song as visual accompaniment. Police officers were on duty at the shopping center long before the start of the action.
Vadim Kazak has repeatedly staged protest performances in St. Petersburg. The latter took place in 2019, when at the colonnade of Gostiny Dvor he chained his hands and put a construction bag under his feet with the inscription « throw flour », meaning the practice of planting drugs by law enforcement officers.
