The Italian football club Fiorentina in its official Twitter announced the imminent appearance of the Russian football player Alexander Kokorin in the team.
The press service published a photo of a Russian with his family from an airplane flying to Italy. The publication is accompanied by the caption « We are coming! »
Upon arrival in Italy, the player will have to undergo a medical examination, after which he will sign a contract with the Italian club.
The transition was officially announced on January 21st. According to the player’s agent Timofey Berdyshev, on January 25, Kokorin will undergo a medical examination, and the next day he will sign a contract.
In the fall of 2018, Kokorin, his brother Kirill, Pavel Mamaev, who plays for Rostov, as well as children’s coach Alexander Protasovitsky became defendants in a criminal case due to a fight in the center of Moscow. After his release from the colony in the fall of 2019, Kokorin signed a new contract with Zenit.
In the summer of 2020, Alexander Kokorin signed a contract with the Moscow club as a free agent after his contract with Zenit ended. The footballer spent last season at Sochi, playing for the club on loan.
As part of Spartak, Kokorin played ten matches, in which he scored two goals, in both cases he managed to convert a penalty kick: first in the game against Khimki, and then in the match against Rotor.
