Fiorentina defender Paul Lirola has moved to Marseille on loan, according to the French club’s official website. The 23-year-old Spanish footballer’s lease is valid until the end of the 2020/2021 season. The agreement provides for the option of buying out the rights to the defender for € 12 million. This season, Lirola played 12 matches in the Italian Serie A and gave 1 assist. From 2016 to 2019, the defender played for Sassuolo.
Earlier it became known that the forward of « Napoli » Arkadiusz Milik became the object of interest of « Marseille ». The French club offered € 8 million for the Polish striker. The Neapolitans are asking € 15 million for the player. It is noted that the 26-year-old striker’s contract with Napoli ends this summer.
