Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Monday that all the recognized journalists of the state have been included in the category of frontline workers. He said that journalists are performing their duties by risking their lives in Kovid era.

This information has been given by an official of Madhya Pradesh Health Department. He said that 1,821 new cases of Kovid-19 came in Indore on Sunday, 1,678 in Bhopal, 1,072 in Gwalior and 731 in Jabalpur.

The official said that out of the total 5,88,368 infected people in the state, so far 4,95,367 patients have gone home healthy and 87,189 patients are being treated in various hospitals. He said that on Sunday, 13890 patients were discharged from hospital after recovering.
