Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Monday that all the recognized journalists of the state have been included in the category of frontline workers. He said that journalists are performing their duties by risking their lives in Kovid era.

After the arrival of 12,662 new cases of corona virus infection in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, the total number of infected people reached 5,88,368. In the last 24 hours, 94 more persons have died due to this disease in the state. So far, the number of people who have died of this disease in the state has gone up to 5,812. This information has been given by an official of Madhya Pradesh Health Department. He said that 1,821 new cases of Kovid-19 came in Indore on Sunday, 1,678 in Bhopal, 1,072 in Gwalior and 731 in Jabalpur.
The official said that out of the total 5,88,368 infected people in the state, so far 4,95,367 patients have gone home healthy and 87,189 patients are being treated in various hospitals. He said that on Sunday, 13890 patients were discharged from hospital after recovering.
