On Wednesday, four bike-ridden criminals looted Rs 4.68 lakh from Central Bank of India’s branch at Garha Chowk under Ahiapur police station area of ​​Muzaffarpur district of Bihar.

In fact, four bike-riding criminals robbed 4.68 lakh rupees from Central Bank of India’s branch on Garha Chowk under Ahiapur police station area of ​​Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. This is the second incident of bank robbery in Muzaffarpur in the last six days. Muzaffarpur SSP Jayant Kant said that the criminals entered the bank at around 10.30 am and looted the money and escaped.

SHO Sunil Razak of Ahiyapur police station said that the criminals took bank employees and customers hostage at gunpoint. There were four bank employees and six customers inside the branch. The criminals forced the bank officials to open the vault, but at that time there was not much cash in the branch vault. In total, 4.68 lakh rupees were looted.

The SHO said that the faces of some criminals were covered with mufflers and caps. There was no firing during the incident. Simultaneously, the criminals took the mobile phones of bank employees and customers before fleeing. Earlier on January 8, five criminals robbed 17.09 lakh rupees from Bandhan Bank branch in Donava under Sakra police station area in Muzaffarpur.

However, the STF recovered Rs 16.71 lakh of the looted amount and arrested four criminals from Kankarbagh in Patna within 12 hours of the incident. At the same time, on January 7, four criminals entered inside the branch of Punjab National Bank in Bakhari of Begusarai, but they could not be looted. An FIR was registered in connection with the robbery attempt by the bank manager.

The rising crime in the state has once again increased the problems of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
